Julie and Brian’s wedding reception was held at the Civic Club of Harrisburg this past weekend. These two were one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever met and it was so much fun working with them. The venue was decorated with all sort of “personal touches” and it was simply beautiful.
I loved the chalkboard sign at the front entrance…
The weather said it would rain, but when I arrived with the cake it was beautiful outside – sunny and no rain! I was so happy for them because that meant that they were able to take pictures outside in the gardens and with the Susquehanna River as a backdrop. I was even able to sneak a peek at the wedding party taking pictures outside :) …
This building was gorgeous inside and out – beautiful stone structures and dark wood architecture. The building was built in 1898 so it has such charm and character.
Each table had cute table number cards with different pictures on them, lovely flower centerpieces and adorable whoopie pie favors made by Desserts, Etc.
The cake was a decorated with a chevron print and sugar flowers in their wedding colors – coral and blush pink. The flavors were marble cake with chocolate ganache and vanilla buttercream filling and lemon cake with lemon curd and raspberry buttercream filling. Yum!
