Kaitlin, Logan and their families were so sweet and so much fun to work with!
From the “Minions” themed bridal shower cake…
…to the sculpted Virginia Tech Hokie Bird groom’s cake…
…they certainly kept me busy! :) And with such fun projects!!
Kaitlin and Logan’s wedding reception was held at the beautiful Cameron Estate Inn in Mount Joy, PA. They chose to go with a 4-tier, rustic buttercream iced wedding cake embellished with fresh flowers provided by Floral Designs of Mount Joy. It was so pretty. Here are some great shots of the cake from Brittney Kreider Photography…

I was amazed at all of the personal touches the family was able to incorporate into the reception! They had an adorable candy bar, beautiful centerpieces, and even a personalized hope chest! Every detail represented Kaitlin and Logan’s relationship in some way.
Congratulations Kaitlin & Logan – it was an absolute pleasure working with you and your families on all of your wedding sweets! I look forward to working with you again in the future!
Thank you Kaitlin and Barb (Logan’s mom) for the 5-star reviews on WeddingWire!!
Happy brides make my heart happy ❤️

This cake was ordered by the bride as a surprise for her fiance. Surprise cakes are so much fun!
Monica’s soon-to-be-hubby actually re-built a 69′ Camaro with his dad. So of course, a Camaro cake was the perfect way to add a little “manly” fun to the wedding.
When Monica and her maid of honor came to pick up the cake, they were so happy with it. I could tell Monica was excited to surprise her fiance with it at the wedding. How fun! :) Thank you to Monica for being such a great customer – best wishes for your new marriage!
This past weekend was an extra special one because I got to make my pastor’s birthday cake!
His wife, LeAnn, planned it as a secret so that made it a lot of fun! Surprises are the best :-) He is a huge KU Jayhawks fan, so we figured a cake to look like a Jayhawk’s baseball hat would really impress him. Here’s what I came up with…
The flavor was chocolate cake, filled with chocolate ganache and chocolate buttercream…Chocolate overload! ;-)
And here’s the happy customer with his cake!
Happy Birthday to a great guy and awesome pastor!
This weekend, I had the joy of making one of the most fun cakes yet!
This was for a surprise 80th birthday party for a potato farmer. Two of his daughters were throwing him a big surprise party this weekend and they suggested to me that they were interested in a cake to look like a sack of potatoes, personalized with their father’s label. Of course, I was delighted to take on such an order! How fun does that sound?
So here is a view from the top…
View of the side…
The “potatoes” were made out of homemade rice krispie treats, white chocolate, and fondant – and at the very end I dusted everything with a little cocoa powder “dirt”.
I was so happy with how it all turned out and can’t wait to hear the feedback from the party.
What a fun cake! (:
